SKU: Mutare Speech to Text
Voicemail at the Speed of Sight
Read your voicemail, anywhere, any time, with Mutare's revolutionary new Speech to Text offering for Avaya. With Speech to Text, your voicemail messages appear as converted text, delivered in email form to your desktop or mobile device. You won’t believe your eyes – or the time you will save.
How it Works
Speech to Text combines the unified messaging capabilities of Mutare Software’s Enabled Voicemail (EVM) with SpinVox’s patented voice-to-text service. EVM copies your voicemail messages, delivered as sound file attachments, to your email inbox. With the added text conversion capabilities of SpinVox, those messages will also appear in text form, along with caller ID if available, in the body of the email message. Read, listen, reply, save, forward, and delete from your desktop, laptop, PDA or Smartphone – without ever dialing into your voicemail box.

FAQ
What languages can be converted?
Currently, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese.
Is there a message length limit?
Converted messages may be up to 500 characters in length. Should the message go beyond 500 characters, a “…” tag will be added to the end indicating the message was too long to be converted in its entirety. The length of text messages sent to cell carriers is subject to the limitations of the individual carrier.
How long will it take for the converted message to arrive?
Normally between 5-10 minutes. This will not delay access to your original audio voicemail message.
If I enable Speech to Text on my EVM, can I still listen to my messages?
Yes. Your voicemail is still accessible from your existing voicemail inbox and, if selected, as an audio file attachment on your EVM deliveries.
